summer outdoor newborn photography

This year has been filled with many unexpected changes and this sweet little newborn photography session was no different. What was originally scheduled to be a Fresh 48 session had to make a change due to the pandemic. While I know this family was sad to miss out on the in-hospital images, I really loved creating some beautiful images for them once they returned home from the hospital.

We had a beautiful morning at a local park where the newborn session was able to safely take place outdoors. I enjoyed meeting this beautiful and kind family, and seeing their adorable connection was very special. My favorite part of the session was photographing big brother with his precious little sister. You could see how excited and gentle he was with her, and it was really sweet to capture!
